Texas Rangers Hats

Everything is bigger in Texas! Texas Rangers Hats are the right choice for those who like cowboys. The hats are popular because of the bold T logo and also offer alternative logos with the state or a cowboy hat.

The Texas Rangers are a comparatively younger baseball team. They are continuously seen in the American League. The team came into existence under this name in 1972 when the then Washington Senators moved to Arlington. The Rangers were the second Major League Baseball team in the state of Texas. They named themselves the Texas Rangers as a tribute to the state and the state police department. The team colors were also adapted to the concept. With blue, red and white, they are reminiscent of the Texas state flag. In their 50-year history, the Rangers have already had to go through deep valleys. With Jeff Burroughs, they had the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of 1974, but it was not enough for the playoffs.

Milestone World Series

Not until 24 years after its founding was it enough for a postseason appearance. Juan Gonzalez, who turned in a strong season performance and won the MVP award, was especially involved. However, after a 3-1 series loss to the New York Yankees, it was all over in the postseason. It would take eleven more years for the Rangers to win their first postseason series. In 2010, the time came. In a competitive five-game series, they prevailed over the Tampa Bay Rays and advanced to a second round for the first time. Motivated by the good performances of their MVP Josh Hamilton, the Rangers also prevailed this time against the New York Yankees and reached the World Series. There they lost to the San Francisco Giants after five games. And in the following season, the dream of the title was also over. In a thrilling series, they were already ahead 3-2 in the games and led 7-4 bottom 8th inning in game 6. Nevertheless, they had to admit defeat. They have not yet been able to straighten out this painful defeat. They have now been waiting since 2011 to make it to the World Series again.

Modern ball park

The appropriate ball park for that would be available. That's because the Texas Rangers are the franchise with the newest ball park. With construction beginning in 2017, the first official regular-season game was held at the venue on July 24, 2020. Globe Life Field is just a stone's throw south of the former Choctaw Stadium in north Arlington. An eye-catching feature is the high glass façade that runs once completely around the ball park. It allows plenty of sunlight to flood into the stadium. Like some teams before them, the Rangers have also installed a movable roof to counteract any game cancellations.

Strong Farm System

The front of the stadium is adorned by a large red T. This logo can also be seen on the team's official on-field caps. From the logos, you can see the Rangers' ties to their state and their history. Other motifs featuring the outline of the state of Texas or the cowboy hat have accompanied the team for decades and are still extremely popular with fans today. The Rangers would probably not have reached the 2010 World Series without their strong farm system. Among other things, Neftali Feliz's strong pitching helped the Rangers win Game 6 of the ALCS to advance to the finals. They had the best farm system next to the Rays and were able to strengthen their MLB team with young players. To ensure that this remains possible in the future, the minor league teams take care of the training and development of young Rangers talent. These include:

  • Round Rock Express
  • Frisco RoughRiders
  • Hickory Crawdads
  • Down East Wood Ducks
